WHY: RAISE AWARENESS AND FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE REDEVELOPMENT EFFORTS IN HAITI FROM THE RECENT DEVASTATING HURRICANE SEASON.
WHO: LOCAL HAITIAN COMMUNITY, PHILANTHROPISTS, STUDENTS, CONGREGATIONS, ACTIVISTS, HUMANITARIANS, ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS!
You are invited to join the local Haitian community in an evening of learning, fellowship, and helping a struggling country of people to rebuild. The vigil is free and open to the public; dinner is $10/plate ($5 for Duke students and children).
Our mission is to bring hope to those in dire need and thereby alleviate their pain and suffering through assistance.
Thanks to our community partners: Duke University Haitian Students Alliance, Duke University Students of the Caribbean Association, the Fenwick Foundation, Capritopia Farms, Little Tree Farms and the Durham Food Bank.
